Nutrition and Wellness (especially during COVID-19)
Dear Players -
A critical component in the matrix that makes the complete high-performance athlete is NUTRITION.
In our Virtual Training program we will discuss nutrition in more detail, with particular emphasis on the role it plays in physical development and competition.
Also, periodically, we will assign reading for discussion in our Google Meets.
For next time, please read the following two articles. These articles talk of nutrition and wellness applicable to everyone, and also placed in the context of COVID-19. Some of the content may contain scientifically dense and complicated terminology, so please read with your parents/guardians or older siblings and ask them for assistance:
